Some Unknown Facts of Titanic



We all have seen “Titanic Movie” many times but we are still unaware of some facts about Real Titanic ship.
I am going to tell you some truth and useful information about the Titanic (which was sinks in to the North Atlantic Ocean on 15th April 1912 at 2:00 AM) in this Article, which will shock you.
·         It took 3 years for construction of full ship and more than 15000 men were worked on it.
·         The cost to build the original Titanic was $7,500,000 ($7.5 million) but it was lesser than the cost of Titanic movie.
·         13 couples were celebrating their honeymoons in Titanic boat.
·         Only 2 bath tubs were provided to more than 700 passengers of 3rd class
·         Titanic sank took 2 hours and 40 minutes after hitting the ice berg which is exactly same of the duration of Titanic movie.
·         According to the 1912 investigation, the iceberg was sighted about 1,500 ft ahead of the ship and the crash followed 37 seconds later.
·         The whistle of Titanic was too strong that it could be here from a distance of 11 miles.
·         The time interval from first sighting of the iceberg to impact was only 30 seconds.
·         The prices of Titanic Ticket in 1912 are:
1.     First Class: $4350 (Today’s $69,600) for a parlor suite ticket and $150 for a berth ticket.
2.     Second Class: $17502.
3.     Third Class: $30

·         The Titanic was designed for 64 lifeboats but it carried only 20 where the capacity of people was 1178.
·         The ice berg was about 100 feet tall and it was produced from a glacier in Greenland while the water temperature was about 28 degrees Fahrenheit, just below freezing.
·         There was a ship closed with Titanic name is “Californian” when it sent the distress signals but the wireless operator was got bad. Some believe that if the Californian had replied, there would have been more survivors.
·         The Crashed of Titanic could have been avoided if the captain ordered to change the course before 30 seconds after noticing the iceberg.
·         It took 73years to find the wreck of Titanic.
·         1514 people were died in Titanic but only 336 bodies were recovered. It is believe that some bodies are still there in the depth of ocean.

I Lost my PAN CARD, How can I apply on-line?





I am back with some more unknown information.
More than 50% of the total population in India use PAN CARD as a proof of identity (POI) and losing the Pan Card means losing your Identity.
Any issue related to Pan Card like you want to Apply for new Pan Card or want to correct the detail of Pan card can be easily resolve through online form by Income Tax Department.
How can I apply Pan Card Online?
• If you want to apply for new Pan Card then you need fill an online form of 49A. This form is easily available on above link.
• After submitting the form 15 digit acknowledgement numbers will be display on your screen you have to print and preserve this acknowledgement for further process.
• The acknowledgement form will be sent to Income Tax department but along with you have to attach documents like Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA).
(Note: You have to fill your name and detail as per your POI and POA. Please take care of it)
• Apart from this you have to attach 2 colour photographs on applicable space and the photo should be clear as same photo is going to use on your Pan Card. Signatures have to make where specified.
• If the communication address is within India then application charges of Pan Card will be Rs. 107. The person can make payment by selecting any one of the below payment method.

3. Internet Banking
4. Credit Card
5. Debit Card
• If communication address is outside the India then the amount to be paid is Rs. 989 and the person can make payment only in the form of Demand Draft he cannot select any other payment. You have to make payment at the time of filling the form.  After making payment takes a printout of payment receipt and attach it with your acknowledgement form.
The acknowledgement form, POI, POA and payment receipt will be sent to NSDL of Pune in 15 days of the online application.
