Millions of people are using
QWERTY keyboards in our Pc, Laptop and mobile.
But have you ever think that why
the keys in keyboard are not arranged alphabetically?
The original typewriter was designed alphabetically but the
original typewriter was mechanically slower so it was replaced by QWERTY Keyboard. The QWERTY Keyboard
was designed as per old typewriter keyboard. Logic behind the QWERTY design was based on the letter
using in English rather than letter position in alphabets.
What will be the problem you may face if
all keys will be arranged alphabetically?
While typing very fast you may stuck
while pressing 2 close keys and your typing speed can be break. Hence Qwerty
keyboard keep commonly used words together away from each other to avoid
jamming.
